Summary Job Description You are an innovative person who has proven experience of minor/routine maintenance skills. As well has being flexible in your approach you also have an understanding and tolerance of older peoples needs. The post is based between two locations, Edenholme care home and Forest View day centre both in Stonehaven, and the post holder will be expected to travel between the two services. The successful applicant will need to have basic DIY skills, work flexibly and be confident with working alongside older people and adults with learning difficulties. Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £9.07 per hour. This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
