Excellent opportunity to work for a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in the Norwich area. Due to the company's current level of business we are looking to recruit a number of Process Operators on a permanent basis. You will need to have prior experience of working in a Process manufacturing environment and will be open to working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. You will need to have prior experience in a similar role working within: Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Food, Paper, Fire Fighting or other similar sector. You should have a strong understanding of Health & Safety practises and be able to work in an organised and methodical way. You should be PC Literate and have a good level of physical fitness. Ideally you will hold City & Guild and NVQ Qualifications in Processing Industries Operations. The Process Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling operations with both manual and computerised systems. You will need to work well as part of the production team in order to meet the scheduled targets. The role will involve product quality testing responsibilities during both intermediate and final stages. Key requirements for the Process Operator role are: Prior experience of working in an Operator role within a process sector such as Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Food, Paper or Fire Fighting Experience of monitoring and controlling manual and computerised systems Ideally hold C&G and NVQ qualifications in Processing Industries Operations Be Physically Fit and PC Literate The role is a permanent position working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 x 12 Hour Days, 2 x 12 Hour Nights) based around a 42 Hour Working Week. Basic salary for the role including antisocial & flexibility allowance is up to £33k plus an excellent benefits package including Pension Scheme, Bonus Scheme, Private Medical, Onsite Medical Centre, Free Car Parking, Cycle to Work Scheme and 18-day break after 7 Shift Cycles. There is an extensive training program for each new starter with the company . This position offers an excellent opportunity for personal progression and training will be offered in emergency response roles such as Fire Crew, Incident Control and First Aider.
