Embedded Firmware Engineer Epsom £40000-£50000 Embedded Firmware Engineer required by our client, a company which manufactures a range of imaging products. The Embedded Firmware Engineer will be working within the R&D team with a view to supporting a range of microscope-based instruments which are based around STM32 Arm microcontrollers. A knowledge of small-signal processing is essential for the Embedded Firmware Engineer, as the use a range of low output sensors in the design of new prototype instruments many of which have temperature and motor control. The software is written in ‘C’ with debugging using the IAR ARM workbench. With each new design, there will be a requirement for the Embedded Firmware Engineer to consider EMC and LVD and to gather documentation to support the submission to an external test house.
