An opportunity has arisen for GMC registered applicants to join the Paediatric Allergy and Immunology team at The Royal Manchester Childrens' Hospital. The Department of Paediatric Allergy and Immunology is a tertiary referral centre for children with complex and severe allergies and immunodeficiency disorders. It is also involved in Clinical Trials and Academic Research on novel methods of desensitisation and biologics for atopic diseases. The post holder will receive training in all aspects of paediatric allergy and immunology and will suit a paediatrician who wishes to gain more experience in this area of medicine. There will be the expectation that the post-holder will contribute to the academic life of our department since we publish many clinical and pre-clinical papers.
