An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide high-quality support to the Dean of Learning and Teaching, and the Director of Digital Learning (when appointed) at the University of Portsmouth. The successful candidate will provide self-directed, professional support to these members of the University's senior leadership team which will involve direct working with senior staff across the University, the student body, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate success in providing support in a senior PA or Executive Assistant role, in a proactive and timely manner. You should demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to provide outstanding customer service, with the ability to deal with people at all levels, and to communicate effectively with confidence and confidentiality. You will need to demonstrate your ability to handle a range of often unpredictable work, organise your own time effectively, and autonomous working, with use of initiative and flexibility to respond to different priorities as appropriate. An ability to undertake desktop research for reports and presentations would be advantageous.
