Job Description

Information Security Officer required by market-leading company to update/create Information Security policies, procedures, controls and business continuity related processes in support of banking and insurance industry regulations and guidelines, client contractual requirements, group or international regulations, standards or requirements and any other relevant regulations or requirements.


Information Security Officer Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Information Security Manager in performing internal audits/compliance monitoring and provide security-related assistance to external and inter-company Information Security audits, including the completion of written questionnaires, and face to face audits.
  • Administer the Information Security Management System (ISMS) ensuring timely and agreed updates
  • Production of monthly management/project reports as required
  • Administer the Information Security Incident Log, assisting in the investigation and documentation of information security incidents.

Information Security Officer Technical Competencies
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PCI-DSS requirements and the ISO27001 standard, including previous involvement in ISO27001 implementation/certification
  • A sound understanding of the challenges/opportunities of working in a professional services environment
  • Experience of working in an IS function that has delivered a secure, robust, sustainable and cost-effective technology infrastructure.
