Summary

We are looking to recruit Senior Staff Nurses to join our 35 bedded Critical Care Unit (CCU). This busy dynamic unit admits emergency and elective admissions from a variety of specialities. The unit also has a 9 bedded PACU which takes high risk surgical patients through an enhanced recovery program. If you are up for the challenge of working at a busy London CCU then this is the place for you. We want our team to come to work knowing that they can make a difference for the patients and the team.

The CCU is dedicated to excellence for patients and the team are leaders in Quality Improvement. We can demonstrate some of the best critical care outcomes for patients in the country and we take pride in all that we do for our patients.

The Senior Staff Nurse role enable you to become an expert practitioner in critical care and support your development into a senior role in the future. This is a real opportunity to develop leadership and management skills in critical care and be part of a proactive Multi-Disciplinary Team. We have a great team who believe in the Trust Values of Kindness, Respect, Teamwork and to keep Improving.

Your professional development is important to us and so we have regular team days to ensure the teams have time together and to support your learning. There is also opportunities to undertake professional development/academic courses from London Southbank University or London City University.

Applicants are required to have a Critical Care Course from a Critical Care setting and able to demonstrate a strong desire progress be part of a critical care team a team and strive for excellent patient care.
