Nottingham Business School (NBS) is the largest of Nottingham Trent University's faculties and one of the fastest growing Business Schools in the UK. Recently accredited by both the AACSB and EQUIS, the School operates with over 4,000 students and 200 members of faculty. An exciting opportunity now exists within the School for an outstanding individual to work within the established academic department of Accounting and Finance. NBS are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance to contribute to the School's growing research profile and teach on a range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be expected to contribute to the School's research outputs, for example through journal publications, research grant capture and doctoral supervision. You will also be required to contribute to a range of Accounting and Finance modules and should be able to offer one or more of the following specialisms: Accounting: • Management accounting, financial reporting, audit, risk and/or tax Finance: • Corporate finance, corporate restructuring and/or investment banking • Behavioural Finance • Responsible Finance For finance candidates; knowledge of programming (e.g. Python, C++, VBA) will be an advantage. The successful candidate will be qualified to doctoral level and/or have substantive teaching and scholarship experience in their specialism. The capability to teach across a range of Accounting and Finance areas would be advantageous. With a proven track record of developing publishable research to a high standard, you will have a passion for teaching, academic scholarship and research.
