Reception Class Teacher - Smethwick Smile Education are working with a Smethwick primary school that are looking to take on a teacher for their foundation stage in a Reception class on a long term basis from October. The school is a large three form entry primary school with a diverse pupil base. Due to the number of teachers in the school there are days when they need help covering absences, be that long or short term. Currently, the school have a need to cover a long-term teaching position in one of their Reception classes. The position starts in October and the school envisage it will run until Easter next year. The school is an integral part of the local community giving it a personal feel, despite its size and number of pupils. Given the diverse background of their pupils the school welcome teachers who embrace the rewards and challenges this creates. Reception Class Teacher QTS required Smethwick Primary School Full time, term time position Daily pay, paid to scale Join a diverse and exciting school The recruited teacher will be working in a Reception class which has 27 pupils and a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils requiring additional support and with special educational needs. The school require: - Previous experience in a Reception class - A proven successful record of a range of teaching experience. - Great interpersonal and organisational skills to work well as a member of a hard working team. - Good use of behaviour management strategies in order to promote a positive learning environment. - A commitment to continuous school improvement and be an effective role model capable of inspiring and motivating all pupils.
